Shel™ is a layer of protection, not a guarantee. Our content detection systems have limitations. Detection accuracy varies by content type, device capability, and community data availability. Shel™ does not warrant that all inappropriate content will be detected or blocked. Parents and guardians should maintain active involvement in their children's digital activities and not rely solely on Shel™ for content protection.
By creating a Shel™ account or using the Shel™ service, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be 18 years of age or older to create a Shel™ account. Shel™ is a parental control service — accounts are created by parents and guardians, not by the children being protected.
Shel™ provides family content protection including DNS-level network filtering, on-device audio and visual content monitoring, and the Val voice and message safety monitor. The service is provided "as is" with the accuracy limitations described above.
Shel™ is currently available in the United States and Canada only.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@shel.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not use the service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these terms.
Shel™ is designed to be used by parents and guardians to protect minors. By adding a child profile, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of that child and have the authority to consent to data collection on their behalf. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle children's data.
You may not use Shel™ to:
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Shel™ service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where possible.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Infinite Nature Group, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Shel™ service, including but not limited to damages arising from content that was not detected or blocked by the service.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Shel™ and Let Them Grow Safely™ are trademarks of Infinite Nature Group, Inc. The Shel™ service, including all software, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Patent Pending — U.S. Provisional Patent Applications on file.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Jefferson County, Texas.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
